Takashi Miyaki received his B.A. degree in environmental information from Keio University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in informatics from The University of Tokyo, in 2003, 2005 and 2008, respectively. He is currently a project associate professor at Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, The University of Tokyo. Before that, he was also with Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and Inria Lille (France) from 2010 to 2015. His research interests include Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Augmentation, and Ubiquitous Computing. More specifically, he is interested in developing interaction techniques for ubiquitous environments; connecting real- and virtual-world to support user interactions in daily life.
