ACM UIST Lasting Impact Award

Prof. Jun Rekimoto was awarded the ACM UIST Lasting Impact Award on October 10, 2013, for his 1995 paper entitled “The World Through the Computer : Computer Augmented Interaction with Real-World Environments” (ACM UIST 1995).

UIST (ACM Symposium on User Interface Software and Technology) is the premier forum for innovations in the software and technology of human-computer interactions. The conference has been held yearly for the past 26 years.
